5 easy to use apps for lead generation at events.jpg

Did you know, 93% of companies say that their top exhibiting objective is to generate leads?

This doesn’t surprise us.

Events and trade shows present businesses with an invaluable opportunity for lead generation. Unlike the digital realm, events provide unfettered access to attendees; meaning you can provide personalised, face-to-face service to customers and potential customers alike.

To put it simply - events are where you can nurture and build quality relationships. If you'd like tips on how to attract prospects to your stand, check out this useful 10-point trade show survival guide

Now, it’s safe to say that if you’ve gone to the effort of attending an event you want to get the most value out of it for your company. Well get ready, we’re about to make your next event appearance a whole lot easier and way more valuable.

While any event worth the sponsorship investment will provide you at least with the humble barcode scanner to collect leads at your booth (CeBIT exhibitors will get access to a custom built app), we’ve compiled a list of 5 tools, that will help you manage your leads no matter how big or small the event.

All so you can get more time on the floor wooing your potential customers.

1. iLeads by Bartizan

Dump the business card fishbowl; iLeads is an iOS and Android app that enables the easy retrieval of lead’s data. Simply enter an attendee's badge number or scan their QR code. From there you can enter notes, action items or answer survey questions.  After hitting done, a lead’s entire record will be captured within Bartizan’s web portal LeadsLightningSM (access to which is included when you sign up).

2. Leads/ Zoho CRM

Leads, is an iOS and Android app that works in a similar fashion to iLeads. You can scan barcodes, or business cards, to capture an attendee's information and this data will be recorded within the Zoho CRM system. You can anticipate follow up activities by assigning lead owners and linking to particular campaigns, all from the showroom floor.

3. QuickTapSurvey

This nifty app boasts many benefits. As the name suggests QuickTapSurvey generates surveys, letting you delve into what makes a lead tick that little bit deeper. It’s easy to use, affordable, and will reduce your data capture process; while making it fun and engaging. What’s not to love about that?

4. iCapture

iCapture allows you to generate surveys and capture leads. If you’re big on email marketing this one is for you. You can build out your email lists by setting up an automation that forwards your contacts to an email client like Mailchimp or iContact.

Let’s get to the fun part - you can actually tweak the design to reflect the look and feel of your product. This amplifies brand consistency, and further familiarises leads with your business.

4. Inloop NewsTracker

And last, but by no means least, we come to Inloop NewsTracker. This platform provides a news platform that’s personalised to attendees. It helps connect potential customers to relevant businesses, and allows these relevant businesses to connect and communicate with attendees in turn.

By monitoring this app you can get an idea of how many people are tracking, commenting on and sharing your news.
