Startups Set Up at CEBIT Australia 2019


CEBIT Australia 2019 will boast a revamped program to encourage greater interactivity, enhanced engagement and improved opportunities for entrepreneurs, businesses, industry specialists and investors.

As official partner for over a decade, the NSW Government is involved in a range of initiatives at the show including the NSW Business Lounge, an informal space for attendees to connect and Startup Central, a special space dedicated to budding entrepreneurs across the technology industry. Entrepreneurs will be able to showcase their ideas, their business and connect with like-minded leaders and industry specialists.

This year, the NSW Government is proud to be sponsoring the following eight businesses:

Blueprint Lab – headed up by Mark Sproule, Blueprint Lab will be showcasing the REACH 4 Mini system. A highly dexterous manipulator designed to extend the capabilities of subsea inspection-class remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).

AirWater Tracker - A solar powered environmental sensor array which captures key air quality measurements and wirelessly transmits them to the cloud using the Sigfox network.

Espresso Displays - The world's thinnest portable monitor. At less than 5mm in thickness, Espresso Displays create a new definition of mobile computing.

VBreathe Pty Ltd – A revolutionary new smart air purifier that organically eliminates indoor mould, bacteria and heavy particles. VBreathe Tasman combines advanced HEPA filtration with a unique organic gel to remove 98% of airborne microbes from indoor environments.

Blue Orange - GRAID is a Software as a Service platform utilising artificial intelligence and natural language processing to grade IELTS essays. The platform provides instantaneous feedback and a predicted grade in 30 seconds.

Dabble IT Solutions - Dabble Blueshift is a visibility platform providing detailed insights into network security and performance. Blueshift leverages leading edge data analysis and machine learning techniques to identify issues, trends and anomalous activity across the enterprise.

Laava ID Pty Ltd – An Authentication of Things (AoT) platform: it features a secure unique ID tag (the Laava tag) able to authenticate products, people or documents, in a digital or physical context, using only a mobile phone.

Vertex Security – Cyber Security specialists Vertex Security offer a range of security solutions including incident investigation and response, penetration testing, security auditing and managed cyber security services.

This year, CeBIT will again bring to the fore NSW’s expertise and leadership in technology. Head to the International Convention Centre, Sydney to discover new technologies and innovations, meet inspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders and be motivated by the future of business tech here in Australia and around the globe.
