[Presentation] Lessons from La Trobe University on cyber intrusions

Lessons from La Trobe University on cyber intrusions

“It took about 75 years for the telephone to connect 50 million people. Today a simple iPhone app like Draw Something can reach that milestone in a matter of days”

Peter Nikoletatos, Executive Director and Chief Information Officer at La Trobe University reminisced in his presentation at Cyber Security 2016 @ CeBIT the way in which technology has changed over the decades.

His presentation focussed on the lessons learnt from managing the exponential growth of the “intensive nature of technology and data” at La Trobe University and dealing with security issues such as intrusions and hacking.

Check out his presentation below to read more about La Trobe University and how they prepare for cyber intrusions and hacking.
